Babel Camp 2015 – just around the corner

Coming soon: Babel Camp 2015! While BabelGuide is pretty much on hiatus these days, our annual gathering, Babel Camp is back. On Sep 5th you are again warmly welcome in Brno, Fléda club, to join us for third edition of the biggest CEE Social Media meet-up. From the people for the people.

BabelCamp

We believe Babel Camp is quite unique since the atmosphere resembles TEDx events or barcamps, not your usual “marketing conferences”.  We really do social media, so no “you should really get on FB you know” talks, no sales pitches, but new stuff, sharing experience, fail stories even. All in English with speakers from CZ/SK/PL/DE/SLO/UK :)

Whom you should look forward to this year? I believe we have managed to lure interesting speakers again. Only two of them were present last year – Josef Šlerka from Socialbakers and Peter Podolinský from Facebook are always welcome as they have interesting stuff to share. Josef will talk about his video related SNA research and Peter will share some of hard-to-get best e-commerce practices from top FB clients. Among top stars there will be Grzegorz Mogilewski from Warsaw – owner of the first “service design” agency in Poland and also first Polish winner of Cannes CyberLions award and also Paweł Stępień from SentiOne, social media monitoring company that grew to cover 23 European countries!

For the first time we are going to have a speaker from Slovenia – Mojca Marš will talk about how to succeed internationally. Ian Gray from Seriously Social will provide a great overview of tools that help you become super-efficient in your daily social media struggle, we will also tackle Instagram and other “trendy” sites – Honza David presenting for the first time the new tool Manage likes (Instagram for agencies) and Aki Votrubová and Matouš Hutník from TL5 showcasing what you can do with Instagram, Snapchat or Periscope – and for whom.

There will be again workshops – but this time in Cowo Brno, as Fléda isn’t really the best fit for such activities. On the other hand, the club is of course great space for a special part we organize this year with Tubrr: Meet&Greet event with YouTubers! There will be couple of top stars of Czech YouTube, including Johny Machette – so prepare to see the “Beatlemania” of nowadays live. After 9 PM there will of course be a traditional after party with great DJs :) And as for the workshops – we will have a great trio from Berlin: Christoph Raethke, Mira Jago and Monica Zaldivar, having a keynote together and workshops each one of them.

Tickets can be purchased via Ticketon – for 7 € (199 CZK) or you can get yourself a VIP ticket for 18 € (500 CZK) which will include special gifts and earlier possibility for workshop registration. Big thanks to our sponsors: Heineken, Bookio (they will look for a social media expert for their team), ROI Hunter, Oxy On-line a My Food (they will support Matyho chálka responsible for great catering).

So buy the ticket, join us for the FB event and we look forward to seeing you soon! The final schedule will be available most probably on Monday! Please share the news!
