Olga Biernátová – from library to Tweeting the Universe

It wasn’t easy to choose the first person for my line of interviews. I want to introduce my local social media heroes, people who do it right and I’m always keen to cooperate with or follow their interesting projects. But who to choose, so that nobody feels offended? Ladies and non-commercial sector first! Let me introduce Olga Biernátová aka @nofreeusernames – a guerilla reader, a kitchen singer, a librarian and a geekette with the best presentations around

Ten Commandments of Twitter Communication for Companies

Martin Malý, an important Czech blogger, ex-editor in chief of Zdroják, founder of bloguje.cz and generally a really interesting guy, wrote Ten Commandments of Twitter Communication for Companies last autumn. You might think they’re totally clear – and so do I – but there are SO many brands ignoring them that I believe it’s still worth repeating them again.

Fear of the unknown

To be a responsible parent is not easy – that‘s quite clear. But mums and dads of our generation have an extra burden compared to their ancestors: the Internet.

Success stories

This is my favourite part of the whole concept. I have seen many great projects and people in Czech Republic and other CEE countries and I often wondered – what would the gurus from Silicon Valley say about them? Are these concepts interesting taken away from the original context? But in most of the cases we never know, as they haven‘t made it to the eyes of the English speaking public.

Guru

In my opinion, it‘s about time to showcase their projects. We will ask social media specialists, marketing weirdos, crazy librarians, famous bloggers, nerdy start-up founders to find out more about what is their secret formula, where do they come from and what are their goals. We want to ask about their biggest mistakes and their opinion on life, universe and everything.
